Well now that I am home on bed rest and have nothing much to do, I thought I would start a blog about our family. Jared and I are expecting our first child on September 10th (six long weeks away when you are on bed rest!). His name is Jackson Tully and we are pretty excited for his arrival.
I went to the doctor today and he said that my blood pressure is holding it's own now that I am on sitting around all day. He did give me good news that I will be able to attend my baby shower this Saturday, which I'm very excited about!
I can't promise that this blog will be very exciting or that I will even be good at keeping it up to date, but I will try. Once I figure out how to post pictures I will put up some of the nursery and maybe even one of me...

So far we have raised a cat and a dog and they both are a little neurotic, so hopefully we will do better with our son! We live in WV and are both defense litigation attorneys.

Oh, I am so excited you are having your first little baby. You are going to love it. Motherhood is so wonderful. It has its ups and downs but overall fabulous.

I'm glad you started this now. It will be a good way to help pass the time during bedrest, and it is one less thing you have to start after Jackson arrives. If you need help on the picture thing, call me and I'll walk you through it. Take care of yourself, and I'll see you Saturday.
