Yesterday Jackson turned 8 months old. He was a little under the weather on Friday. He ran a temperature all day long and nothing would bring it down. So, we thought Easter would be marked, as all holidays have been, with Jackson being sick. But...on Saturday he was clearly feeling better, so we decided to be very brave and color Easter eggs.
It started out fairly calm and seemed like no big deal...
Then Jackson decided it was so much fun!
Things ended fairly quickly once the blue egg dye went all over the table and the floor. We came very, very close to having a blue Morgan dog!
But, we did manage to get all the eggs colored and I think they turned out well!!
We took his 8 month pictures this afternoon. Needless to say, that little boy who just sat in the chair and didn't bother the blocks is long since gone!
And again, everything must go in the mouth these days...
Here is the complete Easter outfit. It was a little chilly, but we managed to get it on long enough for a few pictures and dinner at Grandma & Grandpa's house.

So, did the dye go down with a foot, hand or other body part? It looks like Jackson did a great job helping you with the eggs. He looks adorable in his Easter outfit, even if it was too cold to show it off in public.

You are one brave Momma dying Easter eggs with the kiddo on the table. I could not let Vivian get very close to our dye cups or she would spill them all over herself. Jackson is getting to be such a big boy. Glad you had a good weekend.
